Mechanical Engineer

Mode: Contract (Client W2 Only)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support high-voltage electromechanical product development from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks).
- Lead mechanical design and build activities during concept, prototype, validation, and production phases.
- Manage component design, development, and qualification with multiple suppliers ensuring quality, cost, and delivery alignment.
- Define technical interface requirements and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct on-site supplier visits to oversee manufacturing process validation and production readiness.
- Drive supplier accountability by resolving DFM/DFA issues and coordinating with testing teams to maintain schedules.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, and hands-on mechanical design validation.
- Generate and release part/assembly drawings and EBOMs into Agile PLM.
- Prepare engineering documentation including DFM/DFA, DFMEA, PFMEA, and work instructions.
- Independently manage mechanical projects end-to-end.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6 years of experience in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in High Voltage Electromechanical Design & Engineering.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
- Strong expertise in GD&T, tolerance stack-up, supplier coordination, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
