Responsibilities
- Manage legal files, records, and document organization to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee case and matter management, including tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, and monitoring the status of ongoing legal matters.
- Provide administrative and legal support to multiple outside attorneys across three law firms.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and track legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and other related materials.
- Maintain document version control and ensure proper filing of legal records.
- Coordinate communications between internal departments and outside counsel.
- Assist with contract administration and legal document management.
- Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Serve as a professional representative of the legal department while demonstrating the confidence to communicate expectations and follow through when necessary.
- Perform additional legal and administrative duties as assigned.
- 3 years of paralegal experience with franchise law or franchisee support OR 5 years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal environment if franchise experience is not present.
- Experience managing a high volume of legal documents, contracts, and case files.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships while remaining firm and assertive when appropriate.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Franchise experience is strongly preferred.
- Active Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain one is preferred
Salary : $25 - $27
