Salary: $60 - 65k base
(might be slightly negotiable) - (no health insurance or 401k, but a possible stipend can be added to the salary in order to help offset medical insurance, if needed).

About the Role (Overview)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Office Assistant to support a small, boutique commercial real estate firm based in New Rochelle, NY (approximately 30 minutes from New York City). This is an in-office position, and we are specifically looking for someone local to the Westchester / lower Hudson Valley area.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and communication skills who is comfortable handling financial transactions, working with tenants, and supporting day-to-day property operations.

A commercial real estate company based in New Rochelle, NY is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. We are a small, family-owned firm that is expanding rapidly and offers long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting others, takes pride in high-quality work, communicates professionally, and can multitask while remaining organized and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Process and track rent checks and tenant payments
  • Work with the company's property management system, including tenant billing statements
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance requests across multiple properties
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and contractors
  • Answer phones, screen calls, relay messages, and direct inquiries professionally
  • Maintain organized records and documentation
  • Perform occasional errands and general office support as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior real estate experience preferred (commercial a strong plus)
  • Lease administration or leasing experience a plus
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
  • Strong phone presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Interest in real estate, property management, marketing, or investments is a plus

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
