Job Title: I.T. Project Manager (6-month contract – possibility of converting to permanent)
Location: West Miami, FL (100% On-Site))
Salary: Up to $65/hr. (could be slightly negotiable), plus OT eligible
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced I.T. Project Manager with strong Microsoft Project expertise to oversee technology initiatives, including software and ERP conversion and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing complex enterprise technology deployments within a financial services or banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of I.T. projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget objectives are met
- Manage software / ERP conversion and upgrade initiatives, including vendor coordination, data migration oversight, and system integration tasks
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and documentation using Microsoft Project
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including I.T., operations, finance, and external vendors
- Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and executive-level communication
- Identify and mitigate project risks; manage change control process
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as an I.T. Project Manager
- Strong, hands-on MS Project proficiency is required
- Proven experience with software and ERP system conversions and upgrades
- Prior experience in financial services or banking strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred (not required)
