HR Manager (On Site)

Sandstone Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead human resources operations across a growing, multi-site healthcare organization. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on HR leader with experience in Behavioral Health, Psychiatric Services, and/or Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) environments.

The HR Director will partner closely with executive and facility leadership to ensure compliance, strengthen culture, and support workforce stability across clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, policy development, and performance management
• Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership and facility administrators
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment regulations
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters and investigations
• Support leadership development, organizational planning, and HR process improvement
• Partner with recruiting and operations to align hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
• Oversee HR practices across multiple locations and service lines
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Experience in Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, and/or SNF/LTC healthcare settings strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare labor laws and regulatory environments
• Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
• Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations preferred
