Sandpoint Property Management, Inc. is hiring a full-time Assistant Property Manager to build relationships with apartment tenants and support efficient leasing and administrative operations.

You'll work in our Sandpoint, ID office from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available, and some on-call will be required.

Depending on experience, you'll make $20.00 - $23.00/hour.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Responsibilities

Our Assistant Property Manager is the bridge between our tenants and our property management team, ensuring residents' needs are met and all leasing requirements are fulfilled. You'll need a personable and helpful attitude with a knack for solving problems and a heart for customer service. Responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

Leasing and Tenant Relations

  • Quickly and professionally responding to phone, email, and in-person leasing questions
  • Scheduling and leading property showings
  • Completing prospective tenant applications, gathering required documents, and performing basic screenings
  • Coordinating apartment move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and maintenance as needed
  • Following up with tenants to ensure maintenance services are fully completed

Property Management Support

  • Preparing residential and commercial leases
  • Presenting lease renewals for review and approval
  • Collecting, posting, and forwarding rent, security deposits, and other payments
  • Refining existing policies and implementing new procedures
  • Communicating with owners about maintenance requests, project estimates, and contractor scheduling

Administrative Reporting

  • Updating tenant records in our property management system
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records
  • Completing data entry for tenants, owners, transactions, and property records

Preferred

  • Experience in property management or real estate
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
