As a Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more communities, ensuring strong occupancy, financial performance, and exceptional resident experience. You will lead on-site teams, foster positive resident relationships, uphold FPS’s high operational standards, and support the company's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations

  • Oversee leasing, rent collection, renewals, maintenance coordination, and vendor management.
  • Enforce lease agreements, community rules, and company policies to maintain order and safety.
  • Ensure adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and brand standards.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to ensure timely unit turns, work order completion, and preventive maintenance.

Resident Relations

  • Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with residents and applicants.
  • Address resident concerns and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Support community-building efforts through engagement activities and effective communication.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and support on-site staff, including leasing and maintenance teams.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, development, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.

Financial Management

  • Assist in preparing and managing property budgets, including rent collection, expense monitoring, and reporting.
  • Achieve occupancy and revenue goals through effective marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Monitor and reduce delinquency and bad debt in accordance with company policies.

Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain accurate records of leasing, maintenance, and financial activities.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Regional Manager.
  • Collaborate across departments to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of property management experience (multifamily experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Close attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Work Environment & Travel

  • This position is primarily on-site with occasional travel to other properties or regional meetings.
  • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
