About the Role: Are you an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQC) looking to lead high-impact energy or government projects? What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage construction quality control (CQC) programs across projects
- Develop and maintain QC plans, policies, and procedures
- Conduct site inspections, internal audits, and compliance reviews
- Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Partner with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to leadership
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, EM 385-1-1, and other regulatory standards
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 years of construction quality control experience
- OR 10 years of relevant construction quality experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience as a CQC Manager or Quality Control Manager in construction
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Experience leading quality audits, inspections, and compliance efforts
- Certification such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), entitled "Construction Quality Management For Contractors within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal, military, or energy resilience projects
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 standards
- Certification such as CQM (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)
- Experience with SPC, FMEA, or other quality tools
