Housekeeping/Laundry Driver

Job Summary:
The Laundry Driver is responsible for the timely and efficient transportation of linens, uniforms, and laundry items between various locations throughout the resort. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all departments receive clean and properly handled laundry while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport clean and soiled linens, towels, and uniforms between laundry facilities and designated resort locations
• Load and unload laundry carts safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling and separation of linens to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup schedules
• Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and resort policies
• Keep vehicles and carts clean, organized, and in good working condition
• Assist laundry team with sorting, folding, or other duties as needed
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with staff and guests

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 pounds regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
• Capability to load and unload heavy carts repeatedly
• Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills for handling linens and equipment

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate vans or small delivery vehicles
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in hospitality, laundry services, or delivery driving preferred

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced resort setting with both indoor and outdoor work areas
• Interaction with multiple departments across the property
• May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
