One of Southern Utah’s top-ranked golf destinations, our golf course is ranked in the top 50 out of the 100 top resort golf courses. The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. Work in our picturesque restaurant, Horizon Kitchen Spirits with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous Southern Utah mountain ranges.

The Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for the restaurant's first impression. To be successful in this role, you must have a positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired. This position pays $12/hr plus tips.

Responsibilities

· Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name

· Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff

· Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service

· Manage the flow of guests into the dining areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate

· Tend to special guest needs and requests

· Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

· Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work well under pressure

· Able to perform high-quality work with little supervision

· Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Team player

· Great interpersonal and communication skills

· Active listening

· Customer-centric

· High school diploma: food safety training will be considered a plus

· Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Shift: Morning, Day, Evening

Salary: $12/hr tips
