JOB DESCRIPTION
Resort Maintenance Technician
Vacation Rentals of Sand Hollow Resort is seeking a dependable Resort Maintenance Technician to help maintain our vacation rental properties and resort facilities. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests
- Complete property inspections to ensure vacation rentals are maintained, functional, and prepared for guest arrivals
- Perform preventative maintenance and identify needed repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve general property maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
- Maintain clean, safe, and functional resort facilities
- Follow all safety procedures and resort policies
- Assist with additional maintenance projects as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of general maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors
- Weekend availability is required
- Valid driver’s license
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time, 5 days per week
Schedule: Weekend availability required
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
