The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. We seek a highly organized 2nd Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This individual will primarily focus on tee sheet management and group bookings in coordination with the 1st Assistant Golf Professional. The ideal candidate will be a PGA Member or Associate (preferred) with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service to our guests. The desired candidate will be available full-time, pay close attention to detail, have excellent foresight of potential problems, and possess a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage daily tee sheets, ensuring efficient utilization of course availability

· Assist with group bookings, tournaments, and special events in collaboration with the 1st Assistant Golf Professional

· Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any scheduling conflicts

· Support golf shop operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales

· Assist with golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs as needed

· Enforce course policies and maintain a professional atmosphere on and off the course

· Work closely with the golf operations team to ensure smooth daily functions

Requirements and Qualifications:

• PGA Member or Associate (preferred) or actively pursuing PGA certification
• Previous experience in golf operations, preferably at a resort or high-volume facility
• Strong knowledge of tee sheet management and golf booking systems
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in golf-related software and POS systems
• Passion for the game of golf and a commitment to growing the sport
• An outstanding communicator, both orally and written
• Self-starter who works well independently
• Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completion
• Familiar with standard office equipment
• Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
• Experience with complex file management
• Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
• Professional demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16 - $19 (DOE)

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
