We are seeking an Office/Admin-billing assistant to join our team at Sanare. In this role, you will ensure seamless client access to care by helping with client scheduling, verifying insurance, managing provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and supporting front desk and billing operations. This role plays a critical part in triaging incoming calls, maintaining compliance and promoting timely reimbursement while upholding Sanare’s mission of sustainable healing. In-person (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00pm)- half hour break for lunch.
Responsibilities-
ADMISSIONS:
-Answer inquiries from prospective clients, assist with insurance verification, client scheduling and other office work.
CREDENTIALING & PAYER ENROLLMENT:
· Manage end-to-end credentialing processes for new hires and existing therapists across multiple states and payers.
· Track license verifications, CAQH profiles, NPI updates, and recredentialing timelines to ensure compliance and continuity.
· Maintain up-to-date rosters with all insurance payers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate provider data.
· Serve as a liaison with insurance companies to resolve delays or discrepancies in enrollment.
BILLING SUPPORT:
· Assist with claim submission and resubmission processes as needed to ensure clean claims and minimize denials.
· Collaborate with billing and clinical team to verify insurance benefits and assist in the preauthorization process.
· Review and correct claim errors related to provider credentialing or enrollment to facilitate prompt reimbursement.
· Support revenue cycle processes through documentation, follow-up, and communication with clinicians and clients.
Requirements:
·High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2 years of experience in medical billing, provider credentialing, or payer enrollment (behavioral health preferred).
· Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, Availity, and major insurance payers across multiple states.
· Experience in EMR systems and billing platforms; proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a passion for helping people access care.
Salary : $18 - $22
