Job Summary
Job Summary
The San Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD), covering San Luis Obispo, Los Osos, and Morro Bay, is looking for a full-time Irrigation and Water Resource Specialist. In this assignment, the Irrigation and Water Resource Specialist will perform skilled, journey-level tasks related to irrigation/water distribution, implementation of a centrally controlled computerized irrigation control system; and perform water resource management functions of the District energy/utilities management program. Qualified candidates will possess at least three years combined experience (education/training/work experience) in the installation and repair of irrigation systems and gas, electric, and sewer lines, including management of a computerized irrigation system. Candidates must also possess a valid CA driver's license. Additional desirable qualifications include two years of college coursework with a major in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field. Possession of a class A driver license is also desirable.
