Job Summary
San Luis Coastal Unified School District is seeking a collaborative, student-centered District Librarian to lead and support library services across all school sites. This position promotes literacy, research skills, digital citizenship, and equitable access to high-quality print and digital resources while working closely with library staff, teachers, administrators, students, and families. The ideal candidate is organized, innovative, service-oriented, and committed to creating welcoming library environments for all students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess, or be eligible for, a Teacher Librarian Services Credential. English Learner authorization also required. Candidates without EL authorization will be required to complete the authorization within one year. A teacher with a valid teaching credential is eligible for a temporary Teacher Librarian Services credential. If you have not yet completed your credential program, please provide a status letter from your university providing anticipated completion date and subject authorizations.
