This role serves as a key operational link between Gas Technical Services (GTS) Supervision, Region Engineering, field personnel, and Construction & Operations teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate GTS Inspection & Maintenance programs and validate/update maintenance and inspection records.Create, manage, and monitor work orders and notifications in SAP-PM; track progress, follow-up needs, scope changes, and access issues.Ensure compliance with Records Retention and documentation standards.Train coordinators on SAP, CPD workflows, scheduling, and monitoring job progress.Prepare job packages, maps, electronic field memos, and supervision-ready documentation.Coordinate permitting, land management, vegetation management, extermination services, joint meets, and customer access.Partner with Legal, Audit Services, Billing, Claims, and external agencies (including CPUC) for dispute resolution and corrective actions.Generate standardized and ad-hoc reports using HANA and SAP-PM to support compliance, work monitoring, and audits.Provide technical support for field personnel and adjust schedules as needed based on system issues or operational demands.Respond to audit requests and provide data to management and compliance teams.Support Pipeline and LNG emergency response operations, dispatching crews via the CLICK system and managing trouble orders.Communicate daily with field crews regarding order completion, resource needs, and system coordination.Assist with compliance inspection scheduling, maintaining late lists, vacation updates, and accurate callout lists.Act as a subject matter expert on system enhancements, identifying defects and contributing to process improvements.Assist in creating process documentation for broader organizational use.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsExperience coordinating field operations, utility work, or gas/energy industry projects.Proficiency with SAP-PM for work order creation, updates, and monitoring.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage compliance documentation accurately.Strong communication skills and comfort working with both field crews and office teams.Experience supporting audits or generating compliance-oriented reports.Preferred QualificationsExperience with CLICK or similar dispatching systems.Familiarity with CPUC regulations and gas utility compliance requirements.Knowledge of permitting, land management, and vegetation management processes.Background supporting emergency response or technical operations.Experience with HANA reporting.Why This Role MattersThis position plays a vital role in supporting gas safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness for critical utility infrastructure.
