- One round of interviews with the host manager
- This role will not be converting to a permanent position
- Onsite 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
- Typical working hours are 6 AM - 2 PM
- Bachelor''s degree
- 2 years of experience in utility operations
- Familiarity with material handling
- Experience and culture focused on safety first
This project coordinator resource will support multiple initiatives at Kearny Maintenance and Operations, including:
- Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) projects to advance safety culture and awareness, collaborating with the VPP PM and Kearny leadership
- Supporting recent audit findings related to inventory and materials at the Kearny yard by performing an initial inventory of materials located in the Dance Hall and creating a process to maintain the inventory
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with represented employees
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Responsibilities include:
- Providing project manager support and assistance in scheduling meetings, documentation, updating project documents, communication, and training
- Updating the project plan
- Assisting in information collection and validations
- Helping prepare status reports and presentations
