MISSION
Responsible for building and scaling backend services, APIs, and AI integrations within a microservices architecture. Works across Node.js (core services) and Python (AI/inference) to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable systems. This role also serves as a key bridge between development teams and client stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical requirements clearly and effectively.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python
Build and manage RESTful APIs and integrations across frontend and AI/inference layers
Work with a polyglot data stack including Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and object storage
Collaborate on containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines to support deployment workflows
Ensure backend systems are scalable, performant, and secure
Act as a liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders, clearly communicating requirements, progress, and constraints
Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations to ensure smooth delivery
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with Python for APIs and AI/inference services (preferred)
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles
Experience with CI/CD processes and modern deployment workflows
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to confidently communicate technical concepts, requirements, and opinions to both internal teams and client stakeholders
