ABOUT THE ROLE
Samuel & Sons is seeking a proactive Outside Sales Representative to support the growth of our Florida region. This role is focused on developing and maintaining relationships within the interior design community, including residential and hospitality partners. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable professional with strong follow-through who thrives both in the field and in close collaboration with the showroom team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Build and grow a strong pipeline of new business through proactive outreach, networking, and consistent in-person engagement across the Florida region.
· Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with interior designers, hospitality groups, and key industry partners.
· Manage all client interactions with a high level of organization, responsiveness, and follow-through, utilizing our CRM system and supporting reports.
· Lead product presentations with a high level of professionalism, style, and attention to detail as a representative of the Samuel & Sons brand.
· Actively track, prioritize, and follow up on all opportunities to drive consistent sales growth.
· Identify and develop new accounts, including emerging designers and large-scale hospitality projects.
· Maintain a disciplined and well-structured schedule, balancing time in the field with regular showroom engagement.
· Partner closely with the showroom team to ensure a seamless and elevated client experience.
· Represent Samuel & Sons at industry events, client meetings, and showroom initiatives.
· Collaborate with management on territory strategy, growth opportunities, and goal planning.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably within the interior design, textiles, or luxury hospitality industry
· Proven ability to build and grow client relationships while actively developing new business
· Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple accounts, and consistently follow through
· Experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking client activity through CRM systems and similar tools
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished professional presence
· Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with the Regional Manager and showroom team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
· Knowledge or interest in the interior design industry and luxury client experience.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Valid driver’s license required.
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Experience using CRM systems to manage client activity, track opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
· Strong email communication skills with attention to detail and professionalism.
· Ability to prepare and deliver luxury client presentations
· Comfortable using digital tools to support scheduling, reporting, and client follow-up
