Structural Engineer IV
- Works closely with members of the team and assists in completing projects in a timely manner
- Implements and utilizes the Company’s Best Practices for projects and processes.
- Working knowledge of Revit models for clearances, potential conflicts, and relationships of the carious parts to the whole and to one another.
- Checks design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
- Provide structural design for buildings and industrial structures.
- Be familiar with the recent building and engineering codes including AISC, ACI, ASCE, and IBC
- Perform moderately complex design calculations and custom detailing.
- Identify life safety code requirements to determine structural loading criteria.
- Select appropriate structural systems for project requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL
- Structural Engineer IV – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; EIT Preferred
- Structural Engineer III – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; two (2) years experience; EIT Expected
- Structural Engineer II – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; four (4) years experience; EIT Expected
- Structural Engineer I - Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; six (6) years experience; PE License Expected
