What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment, including engines, electrical, hydraulic, brake, steering, and lift systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to keep equipment running to manufacturer standards
- Work safely and responsibly—blocking, chocking, welding when needed, and following all OSHA, DOT, and Briggs safety practices
- Document work completed, manage parts and supplies, and keep your work area clean and ready for the next job
- Solid mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset
- 3 year of forklift or related equipment repair experience, with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete required technical training and certifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
