This job posting is for our weekday shift. Times you could be scheduled to work may vary anywhere from 8:00am to Midnight, Monday through Friday.
The Student Assistant position with the 24/7 Online Support Desk is a technical troubleshooting and customer service focused position. Student assistants provide basic technical support to faculty and students within Blackboard. Prior knowledge is not necessary, we will train you on how to use Blackboard and all related tools and systems. A qualified applicant would be someone that enjoys working with technology, has a passion for problem solving, and who brings a positive, team-focused energy to enhance the team’s collaborative atmosphere.

Other Requirements for the Position
You must be currently enrolled as a student at Sam Houston State University taking at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for this position.
Our offices are located off the main campus, so employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
