Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for:

  • Infants
  • Children
  • Adolescents
  • Patients with special healthcare needs

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive examinations and diagnosis
  • Preventive care
  • Restorative dentistry
  • Cleanings
  • Fillings
  • Stainless steel crowns
  • Pulp therapy
  • Extractions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Utilize age-appropriate pediatric behavior management techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and all applicable regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach opportunities


Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited dental school
  • Completion of an ADA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Active Oregon dental license (or ability to obtain)
  • Active Oregon Nitrous Oxide Permit
  • Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based pediatric care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for serving children and families in a community-focused environment
