Title: Teacher, Summer School
Dates: June 8 - June 25, Monday - Thursday (no Fridays)
Student Hours: 8:00 am-11:30 am
Teacher Hours: 7:45 am - 11:45 am
Class sizes: No more than 15 students/class
Pay: $35/hr for certified staff
Qualifications:
Valid Professional Educator License or Substitute License
Desirable:
Previous experience in working with primary, elementary and middle school students
Teaching Math/ELA
Knowledge of current strategies and research in developmentally appropriate practices for K - 8th grades
Ability to assess the learning of students and modify or enhance instruction as needed
Ability to analyze various forms of data and use the information to make instructional decisions
Strong collaboration skills to co-plan, co-teach, model, and coach with individual teachers and teacher teams
Capability to provide instruction to students in grades K-8th grade
Other Responsibilities:
