Department: Employee Health Services The Employee Health RN / Information Systems Analyst is a dual-function role that combines direct clinical nursing responsibilities with specialized support in health information systems. This position plays a key role in promoting employee well-being, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leveraging technology to optimize workflows, reporting, and data analysis. The role requires both strong clinical nursing skills and technical expertise to support and enhance Employee Health operations. Employee Health RN Duties Perform clinical duties of an Employee Health RN, including employee screenings, assessments, exposure follow up and immunizations. Manage and maintain employee health records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Provide health counseling and education on wellness, prevention, and occupational health issues including workers' compensation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and leaders to promote workplace safety and employee well-being. Coordinate return-to-work programs, accommodations, and follow-up for employees as needed. Participates in the departments continuous performance improvement and leads improvement efforts as assigned. Information Systems Analyst Duties Support implementation, customization, and optimization of information systems within Employee Health. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT to troubleshoot and resolve system issues while improving workflow efficiency. Train and support Employee Health staff in the use of information technologies and tools. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in areas such as annual health assessments, ergonomics, and workers’ compensation. Collaborate in the development and implementation of policies and protocols related to Employee Health information systems. Maintain system interfaces with hospital platforms; manage downtime processes for Employee Health. Generate routine and specialized administrative reports; design custom reports, graphics, and flowcharts to communicate data effectively. Develop training materials, manuals, and resources for Employee Health staff and other users. Serve as a departmental liaison for user questions and requests regarding system use. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of occupational health standards, workplace safety, workers' compensation and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and health informatics. Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics. Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensure: Current California Registered Nurse license required. Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred. Experience: 4 years RN experience with Two (2) years’ experience working in Employee/Occupational Health or similar setting. Strong understanding of Employee/Occupational Health regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is $56.89 - $75.00. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
