Business Development

We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of customers, develop new accounts, and directly purchase inventory from mills and wholesalers. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoy building relationships in the lumber industry, this role is for you.

Sales & Customer Management

• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Prospect and onboard new customers
• Provide fast, accurate quotes and follow-up consistently
• Use CRM tools to log all customer interactions
  
  

Strategy & Execution

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
• Contribute to pricing strategies in a fluctuating commodity market
• Monitor competitive activity and industry trends
  
  

Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with internal team members in sales, operations, and finance
• Coordinate on logistics and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience (lumber or industrial sales preferred)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-starter who thrives with limited supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn industry software
  
  

Work Environment

• Sales are conducted through a combination of phone, email, and in-person sales calls
• Occasional travel to customer sites or industry events
