We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of customers, develop new accounts, and directly purchase inventory from mills and wholesalers. Sales & Customer Management
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Prospect and onboard new customers
- Provide fast, accurate quotes and follow-up consistently
- Use CRM tools to log all customer interactions
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Contribute to pricing strategies in a fluctuating commodity market
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends
- Communicate effectively with internal team members in sales, operations, and finance
- Coordinate on logistics and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience
- 2 years of sales experience (lumber or industrial sales preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who thrives with limited supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn industry software
- Sales are conducted through a combination of phone, email, and in-person sales calls
- Occasional travel to customer sites or industry events
- Competitive compensation structure. Base $70K commissions. OTE $100K
