The Opportunity
We are hiring a Business Development Specialist to develop new customer relationships and expand the presence in one of our fastest-growing regions.
This is a pure hunting role focused on building new relationships and solving storage needs for customers. You’ll work closely with a supportive Regional Manager and operational team, using a modern CRM (HubSpot) and a proven territory strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, prospect, and close new business within a defined territory
- Sell storage trailers, dry vans, containers, and cartage solutions
- Conduct field visits to understand customer needs and applications
- Build relationships with warehouse managers, logistics leaders, and procurement teams
- Manage pipeline, activities, and forecasting in HubSpot
- Maintain regular touchpoints with clients (Top 10 every 30 days; Top 25 every 90 days)
- Achieve 100 new units on rent in Year 1
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
- 6 months of sales experience
- A strong relationship-builder
- Comfortable with customers / confident communicator
- Hungry, driven, and persistent — doesn’t take no for an answer
- Organized and consistent with territory planning
- Able to succeed in a longer sales cycle environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000
Commission:
- 5% of collected revenue for all new customers (Year 1)
- 1% bonus on recurring revenue (Year 2 )
- $2,500 quarterly guarantee for first 6 months
