Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist / LPN Scrub Nurse assists with the care and preparation of surgical patients and supports the surgical team by performing routine and delegated duties in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of the Surgery Department.

This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and the surgical team.

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Monday–Friday
• 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
• Call rotation required

Compensation

Surgical Technologist: $21.50–$25.80 per hour
LPN Scrub Nurse: $22.25–$32.27 per hour

Actual hourly rate is based on qualifications and previous experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, LPN program, or applicable surgical technology training.
• Current professional registration/licensure with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), as applicable to the position.
• Previous Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (OR), or LPN Scrub Nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical and healthcare team.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.
