Salem Lutheran Church & School is seeking a dedicated and organized Church/School Secretary to join our ministry team. This vital role supports both the church and school office operations, helping create a warm, efficient, and faith-centered environment for staff, students, families, and congregation members.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and church members
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and calendars for church and school events
- Assist with newsletters, bulletins, and other communications
- Support administrative needs of the pastor, principal, and teaching staff
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a heart for service
- Previous office experience preferred
