There is one full-time Assistant Milieu Manager position currently available in Cottage 7. The hourly rate starts at $21 an hour.
Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic interventions, activities, and support plans; teaching daily living and social skills; coaching and mentoring direct care staff; and implementing program initiatives, goals, and objectives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. High School diploma required. One year of previous related experience in a residential setting. Satisfactory job performance and attendance; compliance with training hours; must hold or obtain MAP certification. Candidate must have an understanding of trauma-informed care, the capacity to role model complex concepts related to therapeutic interventions and safety, and the ability to lead and motivate a team and work in a strength-based manner with youth and families. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Core Competencies: Effective therapeutic milieu management and capacity to role-model complex concepts for staff, including ARC and safety care. Ability to engage youth in activities and programming. Ability to work strength-based with youth and families and forge respectful relationships. Effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills are crucial in this role, ensuring precision and accuracy in our work.
