Saint Therese – Monroe, MI

Full-Time | Housekeeping

- Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

- Occasional weekend and holiday work will be required.

- Currently, this occurs approximately every 7th weekend, with about 2 hours of work on both Saturday and Sunday.

Make a meaningful difference every day by helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for older adults. As a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in enhancing residents' quality of life by maintaining a safe, inviting environment throughout our senior living community.

- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

- Perform routine and deep cleaning assignments

- Follow infection control and safety procedures

- Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

- Report maintenance or safety concerns

- Support overall campus cleanliness and resident comfort

- Required: One year previous in housekeeping, environmental services, or hospitality experience

- Preferred: Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or similar environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily cleaning schedules and deadlines

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks independently

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and team members

- Basic understanding of housekeeping chemicals and safe cleaning practices

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to effectively perform job duties

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing carts

- Reliable attendance and consistent professional work behavior
