Growth & Marketing Intern — Sage

We are looking for driven, ambitious Growth & Marketing Interns to help us continue growing through influencer outreach, UGC campaigns, local partnerships, and creative growth experiments.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real startup experience, not a passive internship. You will help source influencers, coordinate content, reach out to tutoring and education partners, track growth campaigns, and work directly with the founding team. There is room for upward mobility for people who are ambitious, reliable, and willing to work hard.
Responsibilities
As a Growth & Marketing Intern, you will help with:
Influencer & Creator Outreach
- Identify and qualify micro-influencers who align with Sage’s target audience.
- Conduct personalized outreach through email and DMs.
- Track responses, negotiations, and campaign outcomes.
- Help coordinate creator posts and UGC campaigns.
UGC Campaign Development
- Help plan weekly UGC campaigns for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.
- Brainstorm content angles, hooks, and messaging.
- Work with creators to make sure content aligns with Sage’s brand and growth goals.
- Track which content performs best and share insights with the team.
Tutoring & Local Partner Outreach
- Research tutoring agencies, executive function coaches, education providers, and local partners.
- Send outreach messages and help schedule meetings for the founding team.
- Maintain a clean partnership pipeline.
- Identify which outreach strategies are converting best.
CRM & Lead Tracking
- Keep outreach sheets updated daily.
- Track influencer status, partner status, responses, meetings, and outcomes.
- Help build repeatable growth systems that Sage can scale over time.
Social & Content Support
- Collaborate with the social media team on content ideas.
- Help coordinate posting schedules.
- Support basic content edits, trend research, and campaign planning.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ambitious, proactive, and excited by startups.
- Comfortable with outreach, follow-up, and rejection.
- Organized and able to keep trackers updated.
- Interested in marketing, growth, startups, education, parenting, wellness, or consumer software.
- Strong at written communication.
- Creative and plugged into social media trends.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership.
Prior marketing or startup experience is helpful, but not required. Work ethic and initiative matter more.
Weekly Expectations
Interns may be asked to help with:
- Micro-influencer sourcing and outreach.
- UGC campaign planning and execution.
- Tutoring agency and local partner outreach.
- Social media content ideas.
- Daily updates to outreach and CRM sheets.
- Weekly performance tracking.
Compensation
Base pay is $200/week if quotas are met, with performance-based bonus opportunities.
Potential bonuses include:
- Influencer performance bonuses tied to user sign-ups.
- Partnership bonuses for closed tutoring or referral partnerships.
Top performers will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility as Sage grows. We will have exciting opportunities in store for high performing interns over the summer.
