position in Alpena, MI. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.

Pay Rate:
Range $2400 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: PT, Outpatient
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8 hour or 4 X 10 hour shifts per week, M-F, Some weekend availability may be required
Position Requirements:
- Physical Therapist experience in an Outpatient setting: 1 years - Required
- Pediatric experience - Preferred
- Prior Travel Nursing experience – Preferred
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- PT License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Assesses patients for physical therapy needs.
- Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment
programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability
following disease, injury or loss of body part.
- Obtains appropriate physician orders, sets measurable goals, and
monitors progress toward those goals.
- Administers physical therapy treatments to patients.
- Assigns follow-up tasks to the PTA and supervises the implementation of
the treatment plan.
- Provides ongoing PTA supervision.
- Provides education and support to patients and families.
- Maintains and completes accurate documentation and reports for all
assigned patients.
- Communicates patient treatment plans and progress to the referring
physician.
- Communicates with other health care team members to keep them
updated.
- Ability to continuously stand and sit (90% of the time). Potentially
exposed to infectious diseases. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Ability
to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
- Must provide full "fit for duty" physical if extended offer.
Salary : $2,400
