position in Coldwater, MI. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.

Pay Rate: $2600 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: OT, Outpatient
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hour or 4 X 10-hour shifts per week, M-F Some weekend availability may be required.
Position Requirements:
- Occupational Therapist experience: 1 years required
- Adults and Peds experience: Required
- Strong experience with Peds: Required
- Experience in an Outpatient setting: Preferred
- Prior Travel experience – Preferred
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- OT License for the State of MI - Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Assesses patients for occupational therapy needs.
- Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment
programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability
following disease, injury or loss of body part.
- Obtains appropriate physician orders, sets measurable goals, and
monitors progress toward those goals.
- Administers occupational therapy treatments to patients.
- Assigns follow-up tasks to the COTA and supervises the implementation of
the treatment plan.
- Provides ongoing COTA supervision.
- Provides education and support to patients and families.
- Maintains and completes accurate documentation and reports for all
assigned patients.
- Communicates patient treatment plans and progress to the referring
physician.
- Communicates with other health care team members to keep them
updated.
Salary : $2,600 - $2,800
