We're hiring afull-time W-2 Intervention Specialistto provideK12 school-based servicesfor the20262027 school year. Whether you're an experiencedIntervention Specialistor new to the field, youll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this workand is here to help you thrive.
Position Details
- Caseload:Multiple caseloads available (K12)
- Schedule:Monday Friday
- Hours:37.5 40 hours/week
- Dates:ASAP May 2027
- Location:Onsite in Ohio
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and student needs
- Create and manage compliant IEPs per IDEA and ODE guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and support staff
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Modify curriculum and materials for diverse learning needs
- Lead IEP and ETR meetings; engage in parent communication
- Build strong family partnerships through regular updates
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, or K12)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Deep understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
- Strong skills in behavior management, classroom structure, and team collaboration
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting all learners
