Instructional Designer

Saga
Amsterdam, NH Full Time
POSTED ON 1/9/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 3/9/2026

At Saga, we're building the intelligence that helps lawyers think faster, work smarter, and stay in control of their craft. Our AI platform optimises legal workflows and enables lawyers to focus on what matters the most - people, ethics, and impact.

We sit at the intersection of human expertise and machine intelligence, changing not just how lawyers work, but what they can achieve. To adopt our AI at scale, lawyers need to transform the way they work, not just learn a new tool. We're hiring an Instructional Designer to turn that transformation into tangible learning products that lawyers use.

Your role as Instructional Designer

In this hands-on, creative role, you will design and build the learning products that help lawyers across the globe adopt AI in their practice. You will work within Saga Amplify to translate strategy into concrete learning experiences: e-learning modules, video content, digital coaches, interactive workshops, and in-product guidance. You bring ideas to life and make complex technology feel intuitive, engaging and human.

We're in full builder mode. You'll take concepts from the drawing board to launch, managing the entire production process. One moment you're storyboarding a video series on AI-assisted legal research, the next you're prototyping an in-app learning flow with our engineers. You care about craft, you move fast, and you understand that great learning design is invisible - it just works.

What you bring to our team

You're a maker who understands both instructional design principles and modern learning technology. You can design a learning journey, shoot and edit a video, build an e-learning module, and coordinate with developers to shape in-product experiences. You care about quality and you know how to ship.
You also bring:

  • Experience in instructional design, educational technology, or learning product development, ideally in professional or corporate environments

  • Strong technical skills: comfortable with e-learning authoring tools, video production, learning platforms, and basic AI tools for content creation

  • The ability to manage projects end-to-end, from concept to launch and iteration

  • A portfolio that demonstrates your range: courses, videos, interactive content, or digital learning experiences you've built

  • Understanding of how professionals learn, with the ability to design for behaviour change, not just knowledge transfer

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, engineers, and clients

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Why join Saga Legal

  • A collaborative team where your work is visible and your impact is immediate

  • Competitive base salary and additional benefits

  • Remote-first environment where people and craft matter as much as technology

  • 20 paid vacation days, 8% holiday allowance and a budget for conferences, courses, and certifications
