VDOT is looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to guide a team of 8–10 BAs and lead business analysis standards across enterprise projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and driving high-quality requirements in a fast-moving environment.
🔎 What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Business Analysts.
Establish and maintain BA standards, templates, and documentation.
Review BRDs, RTMs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and technically aligned.
Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
Act as the bridge between business teams, IT, and vendors.
Communicate updates, findings, and recommendations to leadership.
Identify process improvements and enhance BA practice efficiency.
📌 What We’re Looking For
7 years of BA experience (with 3 years leading/mentoring).
Strong experience in requirement elicitation & process modeling.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
Background with enterprise-level or multi-module systems.
Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools.
Nice to Have
Experience improving BA standards or supporting a BA Center of Excellence.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or data integration.
Familiarity with testing processes and tools.
