ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) — not a traditional Business Analyst role — to support multiple business lines in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This role requires a seasoned professional experienced in systems analysis, business requirements, solution design, integration support, and partnering across business and technical teams.

You will help manage a diverse portfolio of custom applications, third-party platforms, and integrations, while driving requirements clarity, solution design, and enhancement delivery. The role also includes triage and production break-fix support, as well as mentoring junior team members.

🔹 Core BSA Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end business systems analysis across small enhancements, medium efforts, and large platform initiatives

Ensure adherence to the SDLC process

Produce well-defined user stories with detailed acceptance criteria

Conduct fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping

Recommend best practices, helping stakeholders consider build vs. buy options

Use elicitation techniques such as JAD, interviews, surveys, shadowing, etc.

Develop clear business requirements, workflows, RFPs, SOWs, and documentation

Identify downstream/upstream system impacts for any business change

Partner closely with development teams during solution design and planning

Gather and document integration requirements and source-to-target mappings

Adapt integration processes in alignment with changes to systems or business needs

Support QA and technical teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met

Assist Product Owners with UAT planning and execution

🔹 Additional Skills & Tools

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Strong understanding of Web Application and Client/Server architecture

Skilled in meeting facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution

Ability to mentor junior BSAs

Experience with HR systems and eCommerce implementations (preferred)
