This role is critical to maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and overall plant safety. ️ What You’ll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and facility equipment
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs during production
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and machine service
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Replace parts, test equipment, and make performance adjustments
- Build, install, and modify equipment and fixtures as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and plant policies
- Assist with special projects as assigned by maintenance leadership
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Eagerness to learn new skills through on-the-job and classroom training
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and use both hands
- Occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds
- Visual ability to perform close work, distance work, and adjust focus
