You'll be the eyes and ears of the pool deck-always alert, always ready.

Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain constant visual surveillance of the pool and surrounding deck areas
- Prevent accidents by proactively identifying and addressing safety risks
- Respond immediately to emergencies-perform rescues, CPR, or first aid as needed
- Set up and break down pool area before and after swim lessons
- Support deck manager and instructors with on-deck operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool area
- Fill out incident reports as needed
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain certification before or immediately after hire)
- Strong swimming ability (you'll complete a short in-water swim test)
- Ability to stay focused and alert for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with teens, adults, and children
- Reliable and consistent availability
- Fluent in English; Spanish a big plus!
Must be consistently available on the following days:
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Tuesdays: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- Previous lifeguard experience (preferred)
- Background in swimming, coaching, or aquatics
- Team player with a positive, leadership mindset
- Calm under pressure and quick to act

- In-Water Swim Test
