As a SafeSplash Lifeguard, you are responsible for maintaining constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding deck areas during swim lessons. You play a critical role in protecting students, supporting instructors, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous visual monitoring of pool and deck areas
- Identify and prevent unsafe behaviors or hazards
- Respond immediately to emergencies and perform rescues or first aid when needed
- Support instructors and deck managers during lessons
- Set up and break down pool areas before and after classes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck
- Complete incident reports when required
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain certification immediately upon hire
- Strong swimming ability (in-water swim test required)
- Ability to remain focused and attentive for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults
- Reliable and consistent attendance is required
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
- Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Fixed weekly shifts
- No rotating schedules
- No last-minute shift changes
- $15.00 – $16.50 per hour
- Opportunities for performance-based pay increases
- Consistent weekly hours (14–18 hours guaranteed)

- Background in aquatics, coaching, or swim instruction
