Description
Do you have a talent for lighting and want to use it to create meaningful worship spaces? We are looking for someone who can design and manage lighting systems in a large auditorium to help enhance worship services and other church events in order to elevate the name of Jesus.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Operational Focus
Serve as the primary programmer of lighting systems for events in the Worship Center and other production-heavy venues at the Lake Forest Campus. You will also support weekly mid-week events and system maintenance, and serve as the project lead for set builds. This includes LED wall and Resolume Arena management and operation.
Developmental Focus
Recruit, train, and schedule lighting volunteers for the Lake Forest Worship Center.
Administrative Focus
Report and manage repairs of lighting system equipment, conduct regular check-ins with lighting team volunteers, and manage lighting rental contracts for all needs outside of Lake Forest resources.
Leadership and Oversight
Provide care and oversight to staff and volunteers, training and serving in lighting.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
2 years of experience with high-end lighting systems.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented to produce excellence in service execution.
Proficient in programming a high fixture count/moving heads and utilizing advanced scene management.
In-depth knowledge of large format Lighting and Display Systems and related equipment.
College degree or equitable experience is desired.

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $72,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
