What you’ll do
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to create an inviting environment.
- Assist in other restaurant duties as needed, contributing to a cohesive team atmosphere.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/host or cashier in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
