Pre-K Lead Teacher
The Early Childhood Center at Sacred Heart is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while preparing them for kindergarten readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood learning standards.
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children
Foster children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and relationship building.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain open and professional communication with families regarding student growth, classroom activities, and concerns.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom support staff.
Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and school policies.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Required:
MA EEC Lead Teacher Certification for Preschool
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching preschool or pre-k students.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
School Hours: 7:15-3:00
