Responsibilities
Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math, and social skills.
Assist with classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
Engage children in educational activities that support their developmental milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, specialists, meal times, rest times, and transitions throughout the day.
Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and independence among students.
Collaborate with teachers to observe student progress and contribute to individualized learning plans when needed.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's daily activities and developmental progress.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development is essential.
Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with children, parents, and team members.
Familiarity with classroom management tools and educational technology relevant to preschool environments.
Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education standards and best practices in preschool teaching.
