Pre-K Assistant Teacher

Pre-K Assistant Teacher (4-Year-Old Classroom) We are seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our 4-year-old classroom. This position works alongside a strong, experienced Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Responsibilities: Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions Supervise children during outdoor recess and playground time Help serve and supervise snack and lunch periods Support children during academic center time and hands-on learning activities Accompany and assist students during specialist classes (music, art, physical education, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Qualifications: Experience working with toddlers or young children preferred Patient, nurturing, and dependable Ability to work collaboratively with a Lead Teacher Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift, bend, and actively engage with young children throughout the day This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with preschool aged children and wants to be part of a supportive classroom team led by an experienced teacher. Hours are 7:15-3:00 Monday through Friday
