Job Summary
Under general direction, plans, directs, and evaluates Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Special Education programs and services to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for students with disabilities. Provides leadership in program development, regulatory compliance, and partnerships that support effective service delivery. performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential and an Education Specialist Instruction, Clinical or Rehabilitative Services, or Pupil Personnel Services School Psychologist credential.
Demonstrated successful experience providing special education services and a minimum of two years of successful administrative leadership experience required.
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a closely related field is desirable.
