Quality Control Technician

Job description Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Technician to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality systems, precision measuring instruments, and relevant industry standards such as HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC protocols.Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
• Analyze data collected during inspections and tests to identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality systems to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards.
• Support internal audits and participate in external audits as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a QA Technician role or similar position within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, QA/QC processes, and quality assurance methodologies.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines.
• Familiarity with analysis software like Safety Chain for data interpretation is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to evaluate product quality effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of independence in task execution.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
