Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter to our team at an automotive manufacturing facility near the Stephenson Highway corridor in Madison Heights. This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys staying active, helping others, and taking pride in keeping a busy workplace clean and presentable throughout the day.
The Day Porter will work while the facility is occupied, responding to cleaning needs as they arise and helping maintain a safe, professional environment for employees and visitors. Consistent attendance, strong attention to detail, and a helpful attitude are important in this role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform light routine cleaning
- Sweep, mop, and address spills or other immediate cleaning needs
- Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to service requests throughout the shift
- Communicate facility or supply concerns to management
Requirements
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Ability to work professionally in an active manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine custodial tasks
Pay: $16.00 per hour
