Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter to our team at a professional office facility near the Big Beaver Road corridor in Troy. This is a visible, active position for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping others, and taking pride in keeping a workplace clean and welcoming throughout the day.
Because the building is occupied during the shift, the Day Porter plays an important role in supporting employees and visitors by responding to cleaning needs as they arise and maintaining a professional appearance throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces
- Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform light routine cleaning
- Sweep, mop, and address spills or other immediate cleaning needs
- Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to service requests throughout the shift
- Communicate facility or supply concerns to management
Requirements
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Ability to work professionally in an active manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine custodial tasks
Pay: $16.00 per hour
