This role is responsible for managing the in-house repairs piece part inventory to include sorting and picking of piece parts and building bill of material (BOM) kits.
Reports to: MRO Operations Manager
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory control and management of piece part warehouse for repair operations.
- Pulling parts from stock to issue to the respective work orders that have been approved for assembly
- Ensure that component teardowns and parts listing match
- Coordinating with MRO Buyer/Planner to ensure all consumable items and shop supplies are managed for work order production.
- Building overhaul kits for stock
- Stowing and organization of piece parts inventory, including non-stock items
- Conducting routine cycle counts to ensure accuracy of piece part inventory. Investigate any inventory variances for resolution.
- Provide support to warehouse operations as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma is required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in Windows environment including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Pentagon Basics
- Export & ITAR compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training, FAA 145, Traceability, 8130- 3 documents, ESD, Suspected Unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations, and Standard Terminology
- Other Trainings as assigned
- 90 Day Probation OJT
