We’re looking for an MRO Buyer to help keep our Oak Creek facility running smoothly by ensuring our maintenance, repair, and operations teams have the right parts, materials, and services at the right time.
This role is critical to plant uptime, preventive maintenance, and capital projects — and makes a real, behind-the-scenes impact on the food we make for pets and pet parents.
What You’ll Do
- Source and purchase MRO materials, spare parts, tools, consumables, and services
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and value
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ERP data to prevent downtime
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to support PMs and project
- Resolve PO, receiving, and invoice issues quickly and accurately
- Identify cost-saving, standardization, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Support Lean, TPM, 5S, and storeroom optimization initiatives
What You Bring
- 3 years of MRO or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and MRO suppliers
- ERP/MRP and Excel proficiency
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced plant setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- Bilingual a plus
What to Expect
- Combination of office and plant work (including cooler environments ~45°F)
- Frequent walking/standing; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- PPE required in production areas
